On www.fictiontape.com a good friend of mine recently dedicated a post to me. It got me thinking about some of our jokes and conversations about "ghetto power" and I decided-let's do something with this. Well she put up a picture of a boat on which "Snoop" was blasted, and I remembered I had taken a photo in Berlin on which 'De La Soul" had been sprayed out on the side of a building. In 2009, in Germany I'm seeing this image on a building-it blew my mind and brought a smile to my face! You never know what you'll be confronted with and where.

For Marilyn and all those who have some connection to all things peripherally and fully from the ghetto. This blog is born from countless conversations between two girls from the boogie down bronx and east L.A.
